  1. This is a plane coming in to land on runway 29-11 at Metropolitan Oakland (CA) International Airport.
    37° 41′49″N 122° 12′ 29″W

  2. Okay, what’s the book that the passenger in seat 4C is reading, and what page is he on? ;)

Good catch. I was about to go looking at Narita airport as a first attempt. I wonder how many people noticed that the photo had been turned around about 145 degrees.

  3. Striking similarity to a plane captured coming into Logan Airport in Boston.

    42 21′ 01.90 70 58′ 47.83

  4. You’re right, Logan’s appraoch is a virtual copy!

  5. I am going to go with Narita. The runway landing guide for Runway 34-L at : 35°31′53.34″N 139°47′27.02″E.

  6. Rogier’s got it right. I checked his co-ordinates. The Logan one is similar, but the aircraft hasn’t reached the runway lights extension yet.

PS I doubt that I would have ever thought of looking at a west-coast airport for this one.

  7. Oakland is correct.
