For the sake of our overnight players, here’s a couple of images to keep you busy. Perhaps Alan has gone home, or he’s now frantically working on that presentation he put off all day.

This one’s tough, so have at it.

  1. Oh, I’m still around (but I can quit anytime… honest!).

This one I put in the southern hemisphere - Australia, South Africa, or Argentina.

It looks like a body of tepid water in the lower right corner.

  2. On further review, this could be northern hemisphere early on a summer morning. And I now think that the big house has water on three sides - muddy water, but still water. Perhaps that’s a dike at the top right.

    Yes, I’m guessing. I’m floundering.

  3. It’s a tough one. The primary feature is not visible above 15,000 feet. Given its location, I’m hard-pressed to figure out exactly what this even is.

  4. Well, Brad,

It’s been 11 days now. Any chance of a little extra help? I’ve made some observations but I’ve no idea if I’m on or far from the mark.

Given that the picture is so close to the ground, I think we need some help (and not the psychiatric kind either!)

  5. Let’s just say that Alan’s first suspicions with regard to hemisphere were pretty good.

  6. Fiendlishly difficult one. I gotta be close, as I have seen dozens of the things by now, but can’t find the right one… My guess is that it is a motorcross or horse or dog racing track on a farm.

  7. Yes - this one is very tough. I think everyone will be surprised about this one in some way.

  8. Well, Rogier, you’re doing far better than I. I can’t even figure out the continent, let alone country or region. :(

  9. 31°56′39.78″S, 115°53′29.14″E

    Belmont Park Racecourse
    That was easy!

  10. Obviously someone was familiar with Perth. I’ve updated the KMZ so it’s easy to find now.

  11. Yeah, I drive past that track every day.
