Surprisingly it's not in Germany, and you can add Montona to get closer.

It isn't, but this could have been a postcard from this place:

You got in just under the wire, Brad. My last chance at claiming a point dashed at the last moment. Drat!

Of course I had to include a puzzle from Canada, as a kind of tribute to both Brad and Alan.

Clue-clarification:

- "This is like a home for brothers Ed und Albert".
Bruderheim is German for 'Home of brothers' or 'Home for brothers'. It's near Edmonton in Alberta.
Also notice the 'und' instead of 'and'.

- "you can add Montona to get closer." No, this was no typo. Just add 'monton' to Ed and 'a' to Albert ...

- " Here 15 meets 45, it's almost worth a roadtrip." Bruderheim is located near the junction of highway 15 and highway 45.

The trouble for me was that Montona is a place in Croatia, and I was searching I-15 and I-45 in the USA (which, it turns out, do not intersect). However, I-15 does go through Montana, so I was in trouble.
