It looks like some sort of oil well.
Some where in Argentina, South Africa, or Australia?

I could be totally wrong too.

Either that or a construction crane - I haven't made up my mind yet. I agree on the probable locations (Actually, Argentina hadn't crossed my mind originally).

Well, I can guarantee you it's not in Michigan.

I guess this is an oil well somewhere in the middle east, lets say: Kuwait...

It's an oil well (at least I think it is), but it's definitely not in Kuwait.

I was thinking it could be one of the old launch sites at cape canaveral. I can't find it though - but the cape is big.

I'm pretty sure this is somewhere in Argentina.
I scanned a big part of Argentina, and a lot of places looked very familiar to the pic.

Yeah, tell me about it.
I spent hours searching South America for his one, found nothing, but still got this nagging feeling that I may just have missed it.
Well, that's Googleearthing for you...

Finally!

Many more 'search-hours' paid off: it is indeed in Argentina:

Congrats, Adriaan.

So, Brad, now that we're down to 7 unsolved, is there any chance of some new ones to tackle?

I haven't searched for a while, though I'm thinking of resuming for #100. The pain from my previous fruitless searches has eased. ;)
