  1. Finally some new puzzles :)
    My guess is Australia…?

  2. Could be a fault line? Southern hemisphere (?) but not much in the way of shadow. Chile? Clutching at straws, but thought I’d get in there early!

  3. After careful study it seems to me that the shadows are pointing towards the south-west. I don’t know if it’s a fault line, looks more like a dry riverbed.
For no particular reason at all I am going to start my search in South-America.

  4. Playing around with views and angles and I agree with the shadows (so S.H.) Also the feature seems to run almost exactly East/West.
Like the “twist” with the view Brad… Will this continue?

  5. As the man of my word that I am, I decided to have a look around Australia. And what do you know: this is about 2 miles west of Alice Springs,
    23 44 01 S, 133 54 02 E

  6. Nice one.

OK, so its not a fault line, but it is an “intra-plate deformation”, so I was nearly right. A small victory! (no, OK)….

  7. Good job Adriaan. It’s good to see your GoogleEarthing skills have remained sharp during our recent break.

  8. Oh dang, I was so close :(

    Good job anyway

  9. Well done, Adriaan. That’s the general area I would’ve searched - had the time been available to me. :(

  10. Thank you both.
And yes, I found these fairly quickly which is a nice feeling, though it made me briefly feel a bit of a spoilsport. But just briefly :-)
Worse is that this makes the unfindable older unsolved puzzles even more annoying.

  11. Thank you too Alan.

  12. “Worse is that this makes the unfindable older unsolved puzzles even more annoying.”

So true. So very, very true.

Any hints for your fans, Brad?????? ;)

    Alan

  13. If there are going to be any hints, I would like to suggest to start with #90 and maybe #92. These will otherwise only be found by someone who stumbles upon them.
For the other ones I still have hope.

  14. “If there are going to be any hints, I would like to suggest to start with #90 and maybe #92.”

And only early on weekends, when I have more time and access to GoogleEarth. Otherwise, Adriaan will continue his runaway success! ;)

  15. Your wish is my command.
