Minor quibble: left-clicking on the picture no longer brings up a larger version of the photo (as works for #105, for example) - though a right-click|view image does the job.
As for the puzzle: northern hemisphere, semi-arid, and… old world. Looks like an irrigation ditch off the top left.

While searching this area for #100 I realised the similarity in color and features with this puzzle. So I refocused and a few minutes later, bingo!:
