Has this image been updated in google earth? I think I’m looking in the right place, maybe I’m just not looking hard enough!

This country made a lot of noise in recent news.

I think I know where this is but can’t find it (if that makes sense). Maybe I’m just running scared (looks at Alan for clue)………..

The gross clue will also help, geographically.
June 8th, 2011 at 11:40 am
31°16′11.29″N
73°24′39.64″O
‘Chak 354 GB Rodi’, Pakistan
Every town in this area looks the same, it’s insane
June 8th, 2011 at 11:49 am
Sorry that would be
31°16′11.29″N
73°24′39.64″E
but Google Earth sends me to a nearby road 5km to the east of the location, weird
June 8th, 2011 at 12:19 pm
And what is significant about that area?
Remember, there is a purpose to the sequence of puzzles.

Can’t find anything on the place let alone anything relevant. Searching for Rodi Pakistan on google but nothing yet.
Nice find by the way. Well done.

My cryptic question is parried by a cryptic response. Touché. I’m now thinking that I’m probably wrong on this one now…….

Nice find xiempie.
June 8th, 2011 at 1:35 pm
Hmm, I can’t find anything relevant either about the area. Maybe I should look for the larger area..

And thanks Kenwyn and John

Upon further review, I’ve realized that in my meanderings to find an interesting puzzle, I wandered farther from the ’source’ than I intended. Look a bit to the north-east for the themed reason for this puzzle.

Does it have something to do with the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore? Or is that too far away?
July 23rd, 2011 at 1:21 pm
It was supposed to be at or near:
31° 27′ 0″ N, 73° 42′ 0″ E
Nankana Sahib, birthplace of Guru Nanak, founder of Sikhism.
Somehow I screwed up when looking for images on GoogleEarth and ended up too far away. Sorry about that.

I searched there a while back but I don’t think it was for this puzzle, can’t remember why now though. doh!
